We organise current conditions and constraints, compare the realistic options on AWS, and lay out a path for adoption, migration or review.

To make the decision possible, we first set out what to verify, how far, and by what measure. We then run it on a limited scope and check both the expected benefit and what it costs to get there — including the effort of checking and running it day to day.
Our work centres on the upstream stages — organising the problem, clarifying requirements and shaping the plan. Support for prototyping, implementation and ongoing operations is assessed individually: we confirm feasibility and scope with you in advance.

Neither AI nor cloud can be touched. Creating value out of something formless — that is the kind of business we set out to build.
FREEDOM OF LANGUAGE
With AI, our own language barrier has collapsed, and the world has become a single linguistic space.
For better or worse, the Japanese language itself used to act as a barrier. Simply because the language differed, both overseas markets and overseas attacks stayed far away.
Today, information from anywhere can be read in Japanese — and at the same time, we are exposed to a far wider range of security risks.
Borders disappearing means opportunity and danger arriving together. We are living in a time that moves faster, and is less certain, than any before it.

Before you write to us
skybiz is a one-person company. The first reply, the thinking and the work itself all come from its founder. We keep the number of projects small on purpose, so that each one gets real attention.
For international engagements, we work fully remotely in an advisory capacity. We do not take on on-site or full-time dedicated assignments from outside Japan.
Replies may take a few business days. We would rather answer properly than quickly, and we cannot promise immediate availability.
We work primarily in Japanese, and our founder would not describe himself as a confident English speaker. English enquiries are welcome by email, and we will tell you honestly and early whether we can serve you well.
* In practice: we work mainly in writing, use translation tools where needed, and rely on live translated captions for calls. Whatever the language, nothing counts as agreed until it is written down and confirmed. A Japanese version of this site is available at skybiz.cc.
